The Craster Local History Group was formed in 2006 with the objective of promoting interest in the history of the North East with particular reference to the Craster area. We meet on the third Monday of each month, except August and December, in the Craster Memorial Hall at 7.00 p.m. All meetings at the Craster Memorial Hall at 7.00pm, except for our summer visits to places of interest. Meetings normally feature a speaker on a topic of local interest although we hope to encourage members to undertake research themselves and give presentations. Our subscription is £15 per annum, although non-members are welcome to attend meetings at a charge of £3. Anyone wishing to join should contact the Hon Secretary.
