Dunstanburgh Castle Peace Camp 2012.
Elizabeth Pearson rang Artichoke concerning the Peace Camp’s lack of
provision for the disabled & children - Artichoke had to follow the
access guidelines laid down by the National Trust.
The general feeling was that the village should have been consulted
first before the location was made public.
Artichoke is considering donating some of the tents to the first school
at Embleton.
Monica Cornall from Dunstan Steads emailed concerning the placement of
portaloos at the bottom of Dunstan Steads road at the golf course –
Artichoke had placed these loos there for the weekend for anyone
needing them if they parked at the golf course for the Peace Camp.
1488.
NWL Sewerage Update.
Bryn Owen spoke to Charles @ NWL concerning the odour at Dunstan Steads
sewerage station – there had been a malfunction, which has now been
fixed. If the odour returns Bryn will re-contact NWL as holiday

hard surface than from webbing, but the Greys are not willing. A
follow up proposal is to web the central strip – although the webbing
will need to go down on a solid surface. CC John Taylor will
collate the details for 3 firms to put in a tender & the Committee
