1136. Confirmation of minutes of last meeting.
The July Minutes were accepted as a true record.
1137. NWL Sewerage Update.
A thank you email was read out from Hedley Young from
NWL for our hospitality at July’s Meeting.
Another Meeting has been held with Hugh Fell & it
was discussed that nothing can happen until the Compulsory Purchase
Order has been served. A document is being circulated amongst the
Parish Council concerning Compulsory Purchase and Compensation Claims.
Hugh made it clear that NWL to some extent are trying
their luck and that we have right on our side. If we stand our ground
against them we may get a better outcome.

Dunstan Bus Shelter Roof.
The roof has been inspected & will be redone.
Outside Seat at Harbour.
Still ongoing due to the weather.
Coastal Path Erosion.
County Councillor John Taylor may be able to
help next year.
Craster Bus Shelter Drain.
Action Point: Clerk to email
Richard Thompson to check on progress.
Smithy Bank Damaged Finger Post.
The new fingerpost has now been installed.
Lee Moor Ditch.
Still ongoing due to the rain.
ARAN Group.
Still uncertain whether this Group is still
going.
Dunstanburgh Castle
Disabled Access.
Action Point: Clerk to
contact the National Trust to suggest that in the future when work is
carried out on the gates the catches could be lowered & the
boulders removed from the gate area.
Cullernose Point Broken
Fence.
A letter from Howick Estates is in circulation.
County Councillor John Taylor left the
Meeting.

The Chairman has contacted NCC about the state
of the road verge tarmac.
Old Style Street Lights.

Arriva Missing Buses.
Action Point: Clerk to write
to Arriva about the 8.33pm bus not turning up on 14 th & 20 th
August.
NHS Dentists.
Action Point: Clerk to write
to the NHS to see if they intend to increase the number of NHS dentists
in the Alnwick area to ease the waiting list.
Dunstan Water Leak.
CC John Taylor is waiting for the crop to be
harvested before investigating further.
Overgrown Shrub in Dunstan.
Action Point: Clerk to write
to Neil Findley concerning the shrub which is overgrowing onto the
road.
Windyside Bridge Road
Hazard Signs.
Action Point: DC Carol Grey
will talk to CC John Taylor concerning the possibility of signage
highlighting the dangers of the road narrowing & the bend at the
bridge.
Northern Lights.
Action Point: To be on Octobers
Agenda to discuss where we would like to see lighten up this year.
Himalayan Balsam.
Action Point: Michael Taylor
to look into the plant, which has self seeded on the church path.
